Update: With over 56 tables pre-sold for the 19 May 2024 event and still over a week to go, this will be our biggest Buy & Sell ever. So if you’re after a bargain come along and have a look.
The club holds an Open Day and Buy & Sell in May and November each year at our Brendale clubhouse.
Open Day. Come and see our model railway layouts in action. Check out the progress on our layouts. Watch passenger and freight trains wind their way along 600 metres of railway track through miniature towns, tunnels, bridges and scenery, on our double-deck HO and N scale layouts. See live-steam engines on our G gauge garden railway, and check out our workshops and other club facilities. Our $75,000 clubroom expansion is nearing completion.
Buyers. Snap up a bargain from 50 tables of new and pre‑loved items. Free locomotive testing is available in our workshops to give you piece of mind.
Sellers. “Your surplus is someone else’s Treasure.” Turn your model trains, kits, buildings, figures, memorabilia, books, DVDs, magazines, etc into cash. Just $20 for a large table. Pre-book by emailing your name, mobile number, email address, quantity of tables required and preferred location (clubhouse, front patio, shed, gazebo or back patio) to rmcqevents@gmail.com. Sites will be allocated in the order that bookings are received. You can also just turn up on the day, but tables sometimes sell out.
