The Pine Rivers Model Train and Hobby Exposition will appeal to families and children as well as serious modellers. See passenger and freight trains from various countries wind their way through miniature cities, towns, tunnels, bridges, scenery and industries. As well as showcasing many diverse model railway layouts, the Expo will have a wide variety of shops with new and pre-loved items, modelling technique demonstrations, Lego displays, Thomas the Tank Engine, opportunities for kids to control model trains, plus other hobbies such as tanks, radio-control, wargaming, dolls houses and miniature figures. Also, a raffle, and well-stocked canteen.

The hall is almost twice the size of the old venue, allowing many more layouts to be accommodated. The lighting is brilliant and the facilities are first class, providing an excellent opportunity for us to showcase the 'greatest hobby in the world' to the SE Qld model railway community, as well as the public.
