HO Scale Exhibition Layout

South Pine is a modular HO scale exhibition layout built by the Railway Modellers Club of Queensland to meet the display and operating needs of our members. Designed for DCC operation, the layout features a distinctly Australian look and feel while accommodating trains from around the world, particularly from the United States and Europe.

The scene represents an industrial area incorporating passing loops, engine facilities, and a variety of local industries. This configuration allows trains to be continuously on display, whether running on the main line or engaged in shunting operations within sidings and locomotive servicing areas. Several of the industries and commercial premises depicted are strong supporters of our club.

South Pine is transported in a purpose-built trailer that provides excellent protection and allows the layout to be moved by a single member.
