Peter A has played with this one and put me on to it. It is a new way to drive your trains with a phone - ie you use JMRI and Wireless.

Yesterday he and I had a bit of a play on the HO layout with it and I reckon its not bad and I might actually start to use it some days in lieu of the Engine Driver app on my phone. The only modification made was to fire up the JMRI web interface as well as the normal stuff - brilliantly simple.

Check out "DigiTrains" in the Google app store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hu.digitools.digitrains&hl=en and for a good read of the documentation and all about it, you can go to the blog for it at http://digitrains-app.blogspot.com.au/

And yes, that is a picture of my loco on the screen of my phone. You can take a photo of your loco and register is against your loco in the app. Then when you switch to drive that loco number, your loco picture comes up and you definitely know you are controlling the right one :o)
