A Queensland Building

Yarraman, a picturesque country town about two hours drive from Brisbane, as I found on the internet.

Years back there used to be a railway line to that town. But now...

it is gone and only a trail left behind of the rail line. Originally the line was progressively opened between 1884 and 1913, with the first leg from near Ipswich and the link to Yarraman in the valley, the last.

So for you Queensland HO modellers out there, that would be HOn3½ (or HO will do), there is a new building coming out soon. Our illustrious laser cutter club member Tristan, has been working on a laser cut wooden kit for the Yarraman Railway Station. We checked out the almost finished version today at the club and it looks a real beauty. He says a few more minor tweaks to the building and we'll be able to purchase it.

So when it is ready for purchase, he'll let us know so we can get some of them for our layouts - I reckon he has done a great job on it.
