The RMCQ is a club for anyone who likes to make, run, talk about, or simply watch... Model Trains
Find out more about our club by exploring this web site, or visit our Club Rooms on most Saturdays & Wednesdays (9:30am-1:00pm) and Mondays & Fridays (9:30-11:30am)
Visitors are welcome! - We are open during the COVID-19 pandemic, but we require that members and visitors adhere to strict social distancing rules.
Check it out, a new Hobby shop on the northside, "MAC Hobbies and Toys". A few members have already been there and reckon if they haven't got something they'll get it in and are willing to start stocking things people are asking for.
Always worth a visit to a new shop to get to know them and their stocks. So if you are in the vacinity, pop into the new one - MAC Hobbies and Toys:
Unit 2, 14-18 Discovery Drive, North Lakes
Today we could all view the beginnings of the new shed - the trailer shed.
The concreters had been down late in the week and boxed and poured the new slab for the upcoming 4 bay shed. So Gabby now has a new job for a week or so - hosing the slab down to keep it moist.

MRH is a free monthly railroad modelling magazine that is definitely worth a read. Have you read yours lately?
So last weekend, the 17th Sept, was the Modelling the Railways of Queensland Convention. What a great weekend I had.
One of the layouts I visited as part of the convention was of course "Wattle Flat" - what a great NSW, HO scale layout Darren has out there - fantastic. Check out the odd 1 or 20 or more photos over on my blog:
