Slowly but Surely the N'ers Progress

The new N scale club layout continues to progress with John (see below left) busy at it on pretty much every Wed and Sat. Above is a nature shot of a startled creature called the "Umm", found only at Brendale.

Here we see Peter (on the right) and John (on the left) working on the outside peninsula getting the plywood worked out for the bottom deck.

The Main yard was of course the first track laid down on this peninsula. You can see the passing loop for each of the four mainlines in the yard.

The startled look of the gazelle caught in the camera's flash is that from Bob as he is wiring up the yard for both DC and DCC usage. Some nice panel designs have been decided on and made for the switching between the DC and DCC etc on these tracks.
