Model Train and Hobby Expo

Our annual RMCQ Pine Rivers Model Train and Hobby Exposition will appeal to families and children as well as serious modellers. See passenger and freight trains from various countries wind their way through cities, towns, bridges, tunnels, countryside and industries. As well as showcasing many diverse model railway layouts, the Expo will have a wide variety of shops with new and pre-loved items, modelling technique demonstrations, Lego displays, Thomas the Tank Engine, opportunities for kids to control model trains, plus other hobbies including boats, tanks, radio-control, wargaming, miniature figures and dolls houses. There will also be a raffle, face painting, a well-stocked canteen and sausage sizzle.

Saturday & Sunday 8-9 August 2020, 9AM - 4PM daily

Strathpine Community Centre

4-minute walk from the Strathpine Railway Station
& Strathpine Westfield Shopping Centre

To recognise their service to our communities and Country, there will be free entry to currently serving frontline fire-fighters, paramedics and police officers, and Navy, Army and Air Force personnel, plus their spouses and children, on production of a current government ID.
