Rio Tinto is set to resume implementation of driverless trains in its iron ore operations next year, having apparently overcome software issues that have plauged the project to date.
Today a bunch were running up and down the helix and onto the bridge on the top deck. This was all in preparation for the, not too far down the track, opening of some more trackage - this time on the top deck.
The Germans made it to the top today with a steam powered mixed freight.
