For those who don't get to the club often, don't be surprised when you drive in next time, as there is something new parking there - a bl00dy big building!
Today a bunch were running up and down the helix and onto the bridge on the top deck. This was all in preparation for the, not too far down the track, opening of some more trackage - this time on the top deck.
The Germans made it to the top today with a steam powered mixed freight.

Today we could all view the beginnings of the new shed - the trailer shed.
The concreters had been down late in the week and boxed and poured the new slab for the upcoming 4 bay shed. So Gabby now has a new job for a week or so - hosing the slab down to keep it moist.

So last weekend, the 17th Sept, was the Modelling the Railways of Queensland Convention. What a great weekend I had.
