Sydney's driverless Metro completes first full run.

Sydney’s driverless metro train has completed its first full test run along the Metro Northwest corridor, arriving at Chatswood station early on Monday afternoon. So that means that services on track to begin in the econd quarter of this year.
Look, there are many makers of weathering powders and similar type products. Tamiya, Humbrol, Peco, Monroe Models, Aim Weathering Products, Bragdon Enterprises are just a few of the many makers of the modelling versions of these powders.

Looks like the remote control for the Tasmanian driverless train, that pranged at the end of September down on the apple isle, was busted.
So they are now going to stop doing it for a while - remote control that is.

Feeling Hot? How about a nice cool Train Ride in the Snow

Here is a live feed train ride which is on 24x7. It is the train driver's view, a Cab Ride, in the snow of a Norwegian Railway train.
Large scale up of capability for Rio Tinto as they are scaling up their use of autonomous trains in the Pilbara following regulatory approval in late May, with the robot trains now covering 290,000km a day.

Rolls-Royce converting Diesel Trains to Hybrid-Electric

Diesel trains can be fitted with Rolls-Royce Hybrid PowerPacks to turn them into hybrid trains that can also run on battery power, reducing carbon emissions and making them cheaper to run for operators while also making them much quieter when, for example, they approach stations.

Live map of every London Underground Tube Train

This latest version of the tool, maps the paths of the trains to the classic London Underground map designed by Harry Beck in 1931. The original version of this moving map, created by Matthew Somerville as part of a science hackathon in 2010, is a geographic representation of theLondon Underground, overlaying the trains' real-world paths over a map of London.
